HealthAI to unveil “Pioneer Countries” in 2025
As part of HealthAI work, we are continuing our efforts to assist countries worldwide in growing capacity and capabilities to regulate AI solutions in health. We are excited that in 2025, we will formally commence this journey with the first of these ‘Pioneer Countries’.
Following discussions with multiple countries and partner agencies, we look forward to selecting and announcing the first 10 Pioneer Countries. Our collaboration agreements with the ministries and/or government-led regulatory agencies in these countries will mark them as the first members of our knowledge-sharing Global Regulatory Network (GRN).
This GRN will have access to regulatory training for AI in health, access to our developing Global Public Repository of validated AI solutions, a Global Early Warning System of adverse events for these AI tools and ongoing advice and support tailored to each individual country’s healthcare and regulatory needs. As this Pioneer Country GRN grows and develops, we look forward to working with them to collectively enhance and harmonise the mechanisms and processes used to validate the safe, effective, equitable, and responsible use of AI solutions in healthcare.
