Dr. Ricardo Baptista Leite
CEO
Dr. Ricardo Baptista Leite is a Portuguese-Canadian medical doctor trained in infectious diseases with extensive experience in global health, health systems and science-based policymaking. Prior to his current role as CEO of 'HealthAI - The Global Agency for Responsible AI in Health' in Geneva, Dr. Ricardo served four terms as a Member of Parliament in Portugal on both health and foreign affairs committees. Ricardo is a city councillor in Sintra and previously served as Deputy Mayor of Cascais.
He is the founder and President of the 'UNITE Parliamentarians Network for Global Health', a network of current and former policymakers from 110 countries. With more than 15 years of academic experience, he is Chair of the Board of the Harvard-Charité Global Health Policy Lab, based in Berlin, and Chair of the Centre for Global Health at NOVA University Information Management and Data Science School in Lisbon. He completed postgraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Medical School. Previously, Dr Baptista Leite worked as a practising physician in the Portuguese National Health Service for several years, including an internship at the World Health Organization.
More recently, he served as a medical volunteer both during the COVID pandemic in his hometown hospital in Portugal for over a year and as part of a humanitarian mission at the Lviv Regional Hospital in Ukraine during the first summer after the beginning of the war.

Dr. Peiling Yap
CHIEF SCIENTIST
Dr. Yap is HealthAI's Chief Scientist, and she is currently co-steering the scientific and technical direction of HealthAI. She works with partners worldwide on research topics such as pandemic preparedness and response, open health, antimicrobial resistance, and maternal and child health. Her recent research focuses on using mixed methodology in implementing and evaluating both analogue and digital public health interventions. Before joining HealthAI, Dr Yap worked as a Senior Epidemiologist at the National Center for Infectious Diseases in Singapore and as an Epidemiologist at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, where she also earned her PhD in Epidemiology.

Dr.Sc. Alberto-Giovanni Busetto
CHIEF AI OFFICER
Dr.Sc. Alberto-Giovanni Busetto is a Swiss-Italian AI Executive & Innovator and the Chief AI Officer of HealthAI. Alberto-Giovanni is also a Member of the World Economic Forum's Global Future Councils and has been both the inaugural Global Head of Data Science & AI at Merck Healthcare and the first Group SVP Head of Data & AI of The Adecco Group. He has been a UN Global Compact Mentor, Merck Digital Champion, IBM Distinguished Speaker, Task-Force Member of the World Employment Confederation, recognized among the nation's outstanding early-career engineers by the US National Academy of Engineering FoE and as the US Big Data Chair of the Japan-America Frontiers of Engineering. After earning a Doctorate with a Medal from ETH Zürich, he has served as faculty in AI at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has been the Founder & Executive Director of the Intelligent and Predictive Systems Laboratory. In his two decades of experience, he led the creation and management of intelligent products for Healthcare, BioTech, EdTech, Electronics, Engineering and Professional Services in the USA, Europe and APAC.

Silvana Lisca
CHIEF OPERATING & PEOPLE OFFICER
Silvana Lisca is an internationally trained executive with expertise in organizational development, human capital and people management, stakeholder engagement, and compliance.
She began her career in the HR department of a prominent tourism and leisure company before transitioning to a leading humanitarian organization, where she held operational and leadership roles in high-stakes conflict, post-conflict, and disaster recovery settings.
Returning to HR, Silvana advanced into progressively senior roles in program and human capital management within emergency-driven organizations, knowledge-based institutions, and global health foundations. She holds an MSc in International Relations and Affairs, an MBA, and has completed advanced studies in Corporate Social Responsibility as well as in Human Capital and People Management. Before settling in Geneva, she lived and worked in 10 countries across 4 continents.

Dr. Paul Campbell
CHIEF REGULATORY OFFICER
Dr Paul Campbell brings with him a wealth of expertise in healthcare, information technology, and regulatory frameworks. Prior to his role as Chief Regulatory Officer at HealthAI, Paul served as the Head of Software and AI at the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), where he led various innovative projects aimed at shaping the future of medical device regulation in the UK. Notably, Paul spearheaded key initiatives within the Software and AI Medical Device Change Programme, including the regulation of digital mental health tools and the AI Airlock regulatory sandbox—a groundbreaking approach to addressing the challenges of regulating AI-driven medical devices.
A respected clinician and thought leader, Paul is recognized for his extensive knowledge and experience in healthcare technology regulation. He is also a proud graduate of the NHS Digital Academy’s inaugural cohort, further solidifying his role as a pioneer in the digital health landscape.

Anna Brezhneva
RESOURCE MOBILIZATION MANAGER
Anna Brezhneva is an international development and cooperation professional with over 10 years of experience in technical assistance, grant management, fundraising operations, and stakeholder engagement. She currently serves as the Resource Mobilization Manager at HealthAI, where she is responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s fundraising strategy and cultivating relationships with donors and partners. Previously, Anna was the Head of Business Operations at the WHO Foundation, where she oversaw digital transformation and strategic initiatives for fundraising operations. She also managed HealthAI’s operations during its initial start-up phase as I-DAIR. Anna has a background in international trade, having worked on a range of trade-related technical assistance projects for the International Trade Centre, WTO, World Bank, and various government agencies and trade associations. She holds an MA in Development Studies from The Graduate Institute, Geneva, and a BA in History and Politics from the University of Oxford.

Yi-Roe Tan
COUNTRY IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER
Yi-Roe Tan is the Country Implementation Lead for HealthAI. Before joining, she worked closely with the Ministry of Health in Singapore on healthcare transformation programs at the hospital level using digital tools as enablers.
Based in Singapore, she has also worked as a research fellow at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases, employing mixed methods in implementing public health and community-based research projects. Having a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine, she has also been practising as a Chinese physician.

Robin Eede
FINANCE MANAGER
As the Finance Manager at HealthAI, Robin Eede is responsible for the agency's financial administration. This includes the planning & finance cycle management, business analytics, financial statement preparation, and statutory audit.
Rob has over 20 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, spanning both the private and public sectors. Originally from the UK, he has worked for the Government, in pharmaceuticals, luxury goods, tech, and several International NGOs, including the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and the Medicines Patent Pool (MPP).
Rob holds a postgraduate degree in Management, is a part-qualified ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), and has a certificate in International Financial Reporting Standards.

Amanda Leal
AI GOVERNANCE & POLICY SPECIALIST
Amanda Leal serves as the AI Governance and Policy Specialist at HealthAI. An internationally trained lawyer and master of political science, she specializes in law and technology, public policy, and socio-technical AI research. With over seven years of experience across public, private, and non-profit sectors, she has provided legal counsel, strategic research, and policy advice to communities, companies, governments, think tanks, and multilateral organizations.
Amanda is part of the OECD.AI expert group on AI, Data, and Privacy. Her co-authored works include UN-Habitat’s “AI and Cities” (2022) and UNESCO’s “Missing Links in AI Governance” (2023). Named among the 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics (2024), Amanda’s expertise bridges AI governance theory and practice with a focus on responsible AI and the public interest. Originally from Brazil, she speaks fluent Portuguese, French, English, and Spanish.

Irene Rey Landeira
PROJECT COORDINATOR
Irene is HealthAI's project coordinator. She previously worked in a consultancy firm as a client support and marketing associate and started her career as a research intern for UNCTAD, where she contributed to several reports on investment policy. Irene holds a bachelor's degree in Law and Business Administration from the University of A Coruña (Spain). She also has a professional title in Music, in the speciality of Guitar.

Stéphane Dupré
HEAD OF COMMUNICATION
Stéphane is the Head of Communication at HealthAI, coordinating closely with the team to develop the organization’s communication strategy and tactics, and position HealthAI as a trusted partner and expert in the field of AI and health.
Combining private and public sector experience, Stéphane previously led the communication, design & event team at the Swiss Data Science Center, part of EPFL and ETH Zürich, enabling data-driven science and innovation for societal impact.
Stéphane holds an executive master's in corporate and marketing communication from IE School of Science and Technology in Madrid, Spain.

Luciana Pires
IMPACT MANAGER
Luciana is a sustainability and impact management professional with experience in strategy, program management, and fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
She has worked with startups, multinational companies, and international partners on high-impact projects, especially across Europe and Latin America.
At HealthAI, Luciana leads the development of the organization’s Community of Practice, building connections between patient advocacy groups, regulators, and technology companies. She also heads the organization’s impact assessment efforts, drawing on her background in impact consulting, where she helped organizations sharpen their socio-environmental strategies.
Luciana holds an MSc in Management from NOVA SBE, where she contributed to key initiatives in sustainability and social innovation.

Rado Andrian
HEAD OF GLOBAL AI PROGRAMS
Rado Andrian spearheads global initiatives at HealthAI to advance AI governance, regulation, and ethical deployment in healthcare.
With over 20 years of experience driving transformative digital health and AI innovations in the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors, Rado is renowned for his hands-on expertise in digital strategy, solution-building, and forging impactful partnerships. His work fosters collaboration, creates pragmatic toolkits, and ensures AI's safe, compliant, and responsible integration into healthcare systems.
Beyond HealthAI, Rado is a recognized thought leader in the Swiss and international Digital Health Innovation ecosystem, championing Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) and the “5Ps of Medicine”—Personalized, Predictive, Preventive, Participatory, and Populational—through strategic cooperation between patients, providers, pharma, payers, and policymakers.

Quentin Brown
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Quentin is the administrative assistant at HealthAI. His role is to assist in the day-to-day management of the organisation, support the team in the accomplishment of their tasks and mission.
Quentin holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Geneva. He began his career in the telemedicine industry, where he gained valuable experience in tech support and administrative roles. He also served as a key point of contact for stakeholders for the management of a COVID vaccine reservation platform.
With strong analytical and problem solving skills, Quentin has contributed to impactful projects in the health sector. Outside of his professional work, he is a licensed pilot, combining his technical skills with a passion for aviation and adventure.

Léa Ferré
RESOURCE MOBILIZATION INTERN
Léa Ferré is the Resource Mobilization Intern at HealthAI, where she supports fundraising efforts and donor relations through research and outreach under the guidance of the Resource Mobilization manager.
She is currently pursuing an MA in International and Development Studies with a focus on Sustainable Trade and Finance from the Graduate Institute in Geneva. As an Outreach Coordinator for the institute’s Professional Development Committee, she builds relationships to create opportunities for her fellow students to advance their career goals.
Previously, Léa has worked at Wix, engaging with francophone business owners, partnered with an organization to conduct political polling in Dublin, and contributed to a US-based nonprofit, writing and submitting proposals to the US State Department under their IVLP program.
