HealthAI and ECHAlliance announce mutual partnership
As a member organization, ECHAlliance brings a global community together in a network of ecosystems that match need and solution, break down silos, transform healthcare and create economic opportunities.
In an effort to collaboratively promote effective and ethical AI-driven health solutions, earlier this month, HealthAI, the Global Agency for Responsible AI in Health, and ECHAlliance, the Global Health Connector, joined each other’s respective communities of practice.
"We are proud of this partnership with ECHAlliance,” said Dr. Ricardo Baptista Leite, CEO of HealthAI. “Not only does it mark an important step toward fostering global collaboration on Responsible AI in health, but by joining forces, we are strengthening the bridge between innovation and regulation and ensuring that AI-driven health solutions are both effective and ethical. Together, our communities will share knowledge, align best practices, and drive forward a global dialogue that supports responsible AI adoption in healthcare."
Bleddyn Rees, Deputy Chair at ECHAlliance, said of this partnership: “We are equally excited and proud of our partnership with HealthAI. AI is global, and opportunities and challenges for AI in healthcare are global. We have worked with multiple stakeholders for the last five years to help shape the European Health Data Space, which is pivotal to data access to train AI. The work of HealthAI to grow the capacity of regulators and governments to regulate AI is vital, so we are delighted to work with them to promote effective and ethical AI-driven health solutions. Last week, we started our collaboration at MWC25 when Alberto-Giovanni Busetto, HealthAI’s Chief AI Officer, spoke at our Digital Health & Wellness Summit in Barcelona. We look forward to helping HealthAI make its Community of Practice a real success and giving our members opportunities to contribute.”
