I-DAIR will be attending the Tallinn Digital Summit

I-DAIR's Director, Dr. Amandeep Gill, will be speaking on 7 September, at the Tallinn Digital Summit 2021 on the Global Free Flow of Data and the necessity to move towards a new paradigm of data for health as global public good.

With the rise of AI, we’ve entered another stage of digital transformation. But a big part of the future will be based and delivered by good quality data and asking the right questions. This is especially true in complex government and multilateral settings. Data needs to flow freely across country borders in a privacy-preserving and seamless manner. The pandemic has demonstrated the need and value this can provide to the global community and pointed out several shortcomings, including lack of trust, agreements, standards and data management. The panel focuses on what is necessary to make the ground more fertile for new ideas and services across sectors and borders.
