HealthAI – The Global Agency for Responsible AI in Health is a global nonprofit that champions Responsible AI in health. Its mission is to advance the development and adoption of Responsible AI solutions in health through the collaborative implementation of regulatory mechanisms and global standards. HealthAI’s approach focuses on empowering national and regional institutions to regulate and validate AI solutions for health according to global standards issued by existing normative agencies such as the WHO, OECD, and UNESCO while also promoting global cooperation and knowledge sharing.
Job Description
To further support its growth, HealthAI is looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Generalist to shape and manage all aspects of the employee experience. This is a pivotal role to support HealthAI’s mission and to foster a positive workplace culture. Reporting to the Chief Operating and People Officer (COPO), the HR Generalist works closely with the Finance Manager and the rest of the Operations team.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
lead and coordinate recruitment processes for roles across all levels of the organization;
work closely with hiring managers to identify talent needs and ensure a timely and seamless hiring experience.
Employee Lifecycle Management:
draft employment contracts and amendments, work certificates, and any other HR-related documents;
maintain and update personnel files and records, including job descriptions and TORs;
manage and coordinate on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
Payroll & Social Insurances:
liaise with the external payroll service provider;
manage employee social insurance registrations and contributions.
HR Systems & Administration:
implement and manage HR administrative systems such as absence management and time-tracking tools;
ensure accurate documentation of processes and policies.
Policy & Compliance:
maintain and update the employee handbook and HR guidelines;
draft and implement new HR and People policies as required;
ensure compliance with Swiss labor law and other relevant regulations.
Collaboration & Support:
liaise with two Employers of Record (EOR) in close cooperation with the Finance Manager;
provide HR advice and support to team members across the organization;
lead or participate in HR and other People-related projects as needed.

contribute to initiatives that enhance team members’ well-being, engagement, and professional development;

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
“Brevet Fédéral RH”;
5 to 8 years of relevant HR experience in an organization working under Swiss labor law;
Solid knowledge of Swiss labor law, Swiss social insurance systems, and payroll;
Strong experience performing HR administration tasks and managing HR administrative processes with full autonomy;
Experience liaising with external service providers (e.g., payroll, EOR, insurance brokers);
Experience in or exposure to end-to-end recruitment processes;
Experience with Compensation and Benefits management;
Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and foster collaboration;
Passion for learning and a “start-up mindset,” with the ability to build structure and processes from scratch;
Fluency in both English and French is essential;
Legal right to live and work in Switzerland (Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship and/or valid work permit).
Preferred Skills and Competencies
Experience in the non-profit sector;
Familiarity with digital HR tools and systems;
Knowledge of best practices in employee engagement and workplace culture development;
Positive attitude with a people-oriented, resilient, and collaborative approach.
