HealthAI Global Governance Forum 2026 | 18 November, London, UK

HealthAI is pleased to announce the second edition of the Global Governance Forum (GGF), taking place on 18 November 2026 in London, and to open the call for abstracts for this year’s program.

Building on the momentum generated since 2025, the Forum continues a growing global conversation on how to govern AI so that it truly serves health systems and communities. The inaugural GGF 2025 in Nairobi brought together around 150 in-person participants from across regions and sectors, alongside a broader virtual community. For 2026, we look forward to welcoming participants to London for a continued and deepened dialogue among regulators, policymakers, innovators, civil society, academics and private sector partners.

In a landscape filled with conferences focused on what AI can do, the HealthAI GGF asks a different question: how do we ensure that AI in health is responsible, safe and effective in real-world systems? This year’s theme, Scaling Responsible AI in Health: From Trust to Implementation, will guide sessions spotlighting concrete governance approaches, lessons from country implementation of responsible innovation, and the work of HealthAI’s Global Regulatory Network. Read more about the 2026 HealthAI GGF HERE.

We invite individuals and organizations working at the intersection of health, responsible AI, and governance to submit session proposals under one of five thematic areas:

  • Strengthening Human Awareness and Literacy for Responsible AI in Health
  • Meaningful Multi-Stakeholder Engagement to Advance Trust in AI in Health
  • Drivers for Scaling Responsible AI Innovation in Health
  • Making AI Governance Principles and Frameworks Work in Practice
  • Navigating AI, Data, and Digital Sovereignty in Health

Whether you are a policymaker, regulator, academic, innovator or civil society leader, this is your opportunity to shape the conversation and share lessons that can inform better governance of AI in health. We welcome submissions in various formats, including panels, case studies and workshops, until 10 August 2026.

This one-day, in-person gathering, hosted by HealthAI, The Global Agency for Responsible AI in Health, will provide space to reflect on progress since Nairobi and to explore emerging priorities for AI governance in health.
